    Occuity inks European partnerships for handheld ophthalmic device

    British MedTech company Occuity announced several European distributor partnerships ahead of the upcoming launch of its PM1 Pachymeter. The company has developed the world’s only non-contact, handheld optical pachymeter, which supports glaucoma diagnosis by measuring corneal thickness in just a few seconds.

    “We are looking forward to introducing the PM1 to the market. Having completed successful clinical trials and submitted for CE certification, we are confident in its exceptional performance,” said Dan Daly, CEO of Occuity. “Through discussions with distributors across Europe, we believe there will be significant demand for the PM1 and have therefore carefully chosen partners who share our dedication to delivering exceptional ophthalmic devices.”

    In the UK, Occuity has partnered with Birmingham Optical, a respected distributor known for its commitment to quality products and lasting partnerships.

    The company has also signed distributor agreements with renowned ophthalmic companies in various European countries, including E. Janach in Italy, bon Optic in Germany, Medilens for the Nordic countries, and Iogen Oy for Finland, Latvia, and Estonia.
